Our Story

In 1985 ground was broken at McCormick Road and Mescalero Trail for a new mission, commissioned by Coulter Road Baptist. Charles Vick was called to be first pastor. Dennis Milton served as music director. First service 25 members showed up.  In March of the same year the church assumed sponsorship of Siesta Baptist Mission. In November of 1985 the mission was constituted as a church, under the name of Mescalero Park Baptist Church.   

With many Pastors to follow Bro. Vick, in March of 2002 Kevin Oakley stepped in as full-time pastor.  Serving 22 years now with the same vision, "to keep the family atmosphere."
